Art Direction - integrated global campaign

As the third largest app store AppGallery wanted to encourage users to enjoy a whole world of mobile games at their fingertips. With C-19 still on the scene, the 2021 holiday season meant even more downtime indoors. For consumers bored of Netflix streaming, we knew AppGallery and its gaming partners could offer a more immersive, compelling entertainment option.

With the concept “Explore your world of play” we positioned AppGallery as the gateway to the best of mobile gaming. Teaming up with 7 app partners including Angry Birds, Lords Mobile, and Shadow Fight, this global digital campaign treated users to exclusive offers to encourage players to try games from all genres, from casual to strategy. With the launch of Huawei’s newest phone Nova 9, we also highlighted how the device’s specs provided an elevated gaming experience.

The art direction celebrated a world of wonder and imagination. We showcased each partner by creating custom stages with unique backdrops and playful props. I worked with designers and animators to bring the campaign to life on social with 100+ assets, including videos, GIFs, statics and a landing page. The campaign drove significant downloads with Game Fest apps dominating the Top 10 charts.
